What? We collect information from you when you register on the site, submit an application or use the site. You may be asked to provide your name, e-mail address, phone number or social security number as well as other information during the application process. We collect anonymous information when users access our website, which includes the date, time of day, pages visited and duration of the visit.
How? All financial companies need to share customers’ personal information to run their everyday business. Below, we list the reasons CampusDoor chooses to share and whether you can limit this sharing.

How does CD protect my personal information? CampusDoor protects personal information by instituting reasonable security safeguards against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. Personal information will not be transmitted through unsecured channels including email and instant messaging. We have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with California Online Privacy Protection Act.
How does CD collect my personal information? We collect your personal information when you register a username and when you complete an application or any part of an application. We also collect personal information from others, such as credit bureaus and other companies.
Why can’t I limit all sharing?

Federal law gives you the right to limit only:

  • Sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes
  • Sharing for affiliates’ marketing
  • Sharing for nonaffiliates’ marketing

CampusDoor does not share personal information in these fashions.

How does CampusDoor respond to “do not track” signals? CampusDoor does not respond to “do not track” signals, but is committed to minimizing the information collected from your visit. Consumers have the ability to prevent tracking by discontinuing use of the CampusDoor website.
Definitions
Affiliates Companies related by common ownership or control. Campus Door does not share with our affiliates.
Nonaffiliates Companies not related by common ownership or control. Campus Door does not share with nonaffiliates so they can market to you.
Joint marketing A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you. Campus Door does not jointly market.
Other important information

Lender Privacy Policy: We encourage you to review the privacy statement of each and every entity that collects information from you in order to be informed of their privacy and security practices. Your lender and each third party maintain a privacy policy that is available on that entity’s website. In addition, you will be provided with a copy of your lender’s privacy during the application process and as part of your documentation packet. CampusDoor is not responsible for the privacy practices of any third parties which may differ from this Privacy Statement.

State Privacy Laws: We will comply with state privacy laws to the extent they apply.

California and Vermont Residents Only: We will not share your information except for our everyday business purposes or a required by law. Nevada Residents Only: This notice is provided to you pursuant to state law.
